Cussing Christians

Is cussing as Christians normal? What a person who is born again continue to cuss or tell dirty jokes or be profane.

Once again, warning: hard truth ahead.

I was born again when I was 29 years old. Before I was 29 I was just like any other sinner. My family were not people who went to church much at all. By the time I was in junior high my family were not going to church at all. My sister went sometimes. She was born again when she was in high school and I was in college.

I spent college at parties. I made good grades until I started spending a lot of time at parties and getting drunk. I put myself through college by working in hospitals and nursing homes. These are people that I also spent time with. We spent a lot of time in bars getting drunk and going to parties and just being wild.

I was a barfly.

I was also one of the most foul mouth women you'll ever hope to meet. I cussed like a sailor. I cussed all of the time. I use the Lord's name in vain all of the time. The F word was a common part of my vocabulary. I was foul mouthed.

I was born again in 1986. To this day if I run into someone who knew me before that time, one of the first things I'm quick to tell them is that I am now someone who loves Jesus so they don't expect me to talk the way I used to talk and be what I used to be.

I hope I've made my point. I didn't just cuss. I was profane. I cussed all of the time. Have you met people that cuss so much they don't even know when they are cussing? Hello. I was one of those people.

Until the day I was born again.

I'm not going to tell you the rest of my salvation story. I want to shorten it quickly by just saying I came under conviction for sin October 20, 1986 when we went to see the male strippers at a bar in town.

That Sunday I went to church with my sister. She drove. I was cursing while I was getting ready that morning because I could not find the belt that went with my favorite blue dress.

**That was the last time I cussed. I was born again that morning. As it normal for people who are born again, many things disappeared instantly that morning. Some of the things that disappeared that morning took me a while to even noticed they were gone. Feminism would be one of those.

**One of the things that disappeared instantly and has never returned was cussing and telling dirty jokes and any foul language at all.**

**I did not say to myself that since I was going to be a Christian I could not talk like that anymore. I did not work at it. I did not try. I didn't even think about it. I was cussing that morning while I was getting dressed to go to church. I went home from church that morning a brand-new person in Christ Jesus and cussing and foul language and dirty jokes and all of that filth had disappeared completely that instant and it has never returned.**

Many of you would that is just my testimony. It isn' t what happened to you.

Well, it should've happened to you, too. This is the normal experience for a person who is truly born again. If a person is not born again, they're not a Christian at all. John 3 and Romans 8.

That's what happened to my husband. That's what happened every single human being in my church that were born again as adults. I can introduce you to many people who experienced a new birth after they were already adults as I did. Many sins disappeared in an instant and one of those sins is always cussing and foul language and nasty talk.

NO. NO. IT IS NOT NORMAL FOR WHO IS BORN AGAIN TO STILL CUSS. It shouldn't be there. It should have disappeared.

You might want to ask why. Did disappear and you pick it up again? Or did it just never disappear at all?

Unpopular opinion in here. But it still the truth of God. And I can back it up with scripture.

People, I keep saying this. Most people who claim to be Christians are not Christians at all because they have never really been born again. In fact many people, some of which really have been born again, don't even know what the new birth is or what it does in an individual. That's why we get these kind of questions.

“Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.”

Ephesians 4:29 Let there be no more foul language, but good words instead—words suitable for the occasion, which God can use to help other people. Phillips

Miserable in a fundamentalist church?

Miserable in a fundamentalist church?

There is a reason for that and it's probably not what you think.

I am a fundamentalist. I am glad I'm a fundamentalist My husband is a fundamentalist. My church is fundamentals Penecostal.

We absolutely are not NOT King James Only. I have zero patience for that silliness.

And I must tell you that as a fundamentalist. I don't know of any rules that need to be followed. I was born again when I was 29 years old. I stopped watching all R-rated movies because I wanted to stop watching R-rated movies.

I was born again. Something changed inside of me. I had zero interest in those kinds of movies because something changed inside of me. I was born again.

I'm making that point for a reason. When someone is miserable in a fundamentalist church, normally this is the problem.

As a sinner, I did all the things you're longing to do and probably things you haven't thought of.

I went to any movie I want to. I watched whatever I wanted to on television. I listen to rock 'n' roll music because I loved rock. I read whatever book or magazine I wanted to read including The type of romance books that are really pornography.

If that filthy Fifty Shades of Grey had come out before 1986, I would have read all that nastiness. I was wicked. I loved wicked things. That's what wicked people do.

I got drunk anytime I want to because I loved it. I hung around and bars anytime I want to do because I loved it. I was a feminist. I looked at porn. I did those things because I was wicked. That's what unsaved people do.

That's what unsaved people are. Wicked. I hated people. I hated this and I hated that and I hated something else. Unsaved people are full of hate. It goes with being wicked. It goes with being a child of the devil because that's what all unsaved people are.

The Scriptures say everybody who is not born again is a child of the devil. Every single solitary human being on the face of the earth that is not born again is a child of the devil. Unsaved people belong to Satan, they obey Satan, they listen to Satan, and they loved it that way. You try to tell a sinner any differently and they will fight you tooth and nail. Why? Because they are wicked. Everybody.

And all of us who are born again can testify to the truth. We remember when we were that kind of person.

You would never have been able to convince me I was not a saved person because I believed in God. I had gone to Vacation Bible School two or three years at a Baptist church. If somebody had asked me, I would've told him that I was a Baptist. I would certainly told him that I believed in Jesus and I believed Jesus died for my sins. I was no more born-again than the man in the moon.

By the way, I had already been baptized two times.. I was baptized at vacation Bible school as a child. I was baptized the second time in a Baptist church when I was in college because I went through a time where I was seeking something. I wasn't born again at all. I thought I was. I never went to church, but I thought I was a Christian. If anyone had asked me, I would have told him I was a Christian, but I wasn't. I still loved my sin. I was not born again.

Then I experienced a real new birth.

There really was a point in time where the Lord convinced me by the Holy Ghost that not only was I a sinner, but I was going to hell and I deserved to go to hell. I agreed with God. I was in complete agreement with him that I deserved to go to hell because of the wicked things I did.

Anybody who has ever been born again will experience that. If a person has not had this time were they knew that they were a sinner and that they deserved to go to hell for what they have done, then they're not born again at all. They haven't even started yet.

Bible says nobody comes to the Lord unless the Holy Ghost draws him. John 6.

That happened to me. On a Thursday afternoon driving home from work. I was thinking of a couple of friends of mine who are Christians. I was wondering what it would be like to live that way. I decided that it would be a good idea to live that way someday, when I was finished having fun.

I can literally take you to the place on the highway on my way home where I heard the voice of the Lord tell me that I was going to give my life to him now.

I knew I was a sinner. I was a sinner. That Monday I had been at a bar watching the male strippers. Do you understand that I was a sinner and the Lord spoke to me and I knew it was him. There is no mistaking that!

I said,"Yes Lord , I will."

I went to my sister who was a devout godly woman and told her what it happened. I said to her, "I don't know what is going on, but I know it is Jesus."

I went to church with her Sunday morning and I was born again.

Here's an inconvenient fact. That Sunday morning as I was getting dressed to go to church, I was still cussing. I was one extremely foul now woman who used the Lord's name in vain all of the time and who used the F word all of time. I couldn't find the belt to my favorite blue dress that I wanted to wear to church that morning so I was cussing. Wicked people have foul mouth because they have a wicked heart. "Out of the heart the mouth speaks," Jesus said. That would be the last time I cussed.

I was born again that Sunday. I am a new creature in Christ Jesus. Everything I loved in the past I now hate. And I love the things that God loves today. This is been true for 30 years.

I don't hang around in bars anymore because I don't want to. I am a new creature in Christ Jesus. I'm ashamed that I ever liked it.

I don't go to certain kinds of movies or watch certain things on television or listen to rock 'n' roll or other kinds of music because I don't want to anymore. I am a new creature in Christ Jesus. I'm ashamed I ever liked that stuff.

I don't get drunk anymore. I don't even drink socially at all. I haven't had a drink of alcohol since November 2, 1986 because I was born again. I am a new creature in Christ Jesus. I don't want anything to do with that junk. I'm ashamed that I ever did.

I don't cuss anymore. I don't tell nasty jokes nor do I even come close to talking nasty at all. I did not decide that I had to stop cussing because I wanted to be a Christian. I did not have to work at not cussing. I never had to be careful to make sure that I did not cuss after I was born again. I was born again. This bow talk disappeared instantly the moment I was born again. Jesus took it away. It was washed by the blood of the Lamb and it disappeared forever. That's been true for 30 years. I am ashamed of the way I used to talk.

I could continue this list. I am thrilled that I was set free from feminism. I am thrilled that the Lord set me free from all sexual immorality. Thank God. I don't miss any of that. I'm ashamed I was ever involved in any of this mess. I am thankful I don't have any of this in my life anymore.

I am a new creature in Christ Jesus because I was born again.

And I am what you would call a fundamentalist.

We're happy. In fact, we are joyful. We are shouting, dancing, carrying on kind of happy. Every single solitary stinking day.

The only time I wasn't happy is when my sister died of cancer. I imagine you could understand that I might not be happy at that time. I did recover because I had Jesus Christ. But it was a difficult time. But even right in the middle of all that pain and grief, I still had peace that passes all understanding.

This really is the difference between a person who is born again in a person who is not. The joy a fundamentalist has is based on being born again.

If you really are born again there is absolutely nothing about the things you're talking about Christianity that miserable or confining. There is no "have to."You do not "have to" follow any kind of rules.

If you're setting in a fundamentalist church and you feel uncomfortable because of the preaching, it's because you're not born again.

If you were in my church and you are not a born-again person, you can't be anything but an unhappy little person. Yes you will.

So are you looking for a liberal church that is more excepting or more tolerant? Are you tired of being suffocated with rules and miserable with the do note. Are you sick of hearing that if you do this or that you're disobeying God

I doubt seriously that the problems you're experiencing in your church have anything to do with what church you are or are not in. It's going to have everything to do with whether you are really born again or not. That is what you need to fix. You in the Lord all by yourself need to work that out.

Now, if you do not want to work this out with the Lord, if you don't care whether you're born again or not you just want to be able to go to church and live life any way you want, you can.

Never fear, there are plenty of churches for you to join and become a part of the apostate church . There's a whole lot of churches where a person who doesn't know the Lord can be perfectly content. It isn't going to be a real church. And your contentment will only last for a short period of time. Judgment day is coming for each one of us.

I read this today. I found it to be excellent. It was tremendous fun. Allow me to post a few quotes with which I absolutely agree. I would suggest you read the entire op Ed.

Find a liberal and read it out loud to them in the middle of a restaurant with your loudest voice.

What is the New Birth

Someone asked me if justification and rebirth were the same. That question lead me to listing scriptures on just what the new birth is. I used the Topical Analysis of the Bible** edited by Walter A Elwell.

This book lists a few scriptures under each topic, but if you read the New Testament you will find more scriptures that support each one of these topics. You could add to the list.

Being born again is not just deciding to be a Christian. It is not just deciding that Jesus exists. It is not deciding to obey Jesus or deciding to live right.

The New Birth by Leon Stump

"As we said, there are many substitutes people offer or mistake for the genuine new birth—"reincarnation," various false inner lights and witnesses, psychological changes, mere emotional experiences, water baptism, church membership, and going forward in a crusade or answering an "altar call". It is true that the Spirit does bear witness with our spirit in a genuine new birth, deeply effecting our emotions, and that truly born again people will be baptized in water and join in fellowship at a church. These things accompany a genuine new birth, but they must not be mistaken as substitutes for it—the new birth is more than these things.

**Many people substitute reformation of life for regeneration or the new birth.** They reform much of the outward conduct in connection with some commitment to Christ such as water baptism or church membership and mistake this outward reformation for the new birth. Many also substitute or mistake the first workings of the Spirit of God upon them for conversion—some conviction of sin, a desire for Christ, an "assent" of faith, a wooing and drawing by the Spirit accompanied by emotion. A certain amount of peace and joy may accompany these without a thorough conversion to God. We have failed to recognize this as we should; as a result, multitudes fill our churches who remain unconverted. We suspect nothing amiss and neither do they.

Being born again is a huge huge huge radical deep change from the spirit to the behavior affecting every single aspect of your life. You quite literally become a new creature in an instant. It is a recreation.

There is room for growth. You will grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ all your life, but it is still a gigantic huge radical change instantly. Old things do pass away.

II Corinthians 5:17. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. I am going to list some scriptures on the new birth. There are many more under each heading. This isn't all of the effects of the new birth.

1. A person who is born again is justified which is being put in right standing with God, **

Romans 5: 1Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we[a]have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.

2.He is adopted into the family of God.

John 1: 12Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13children born not of natural descent,[c] nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.

Galatians 4: But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, 5to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons. 6Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, "Abba, Father."

Romans 8: 15For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father." 16The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children.

Ephesians 1: 7In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace

3. He has been recreated in righteousness and true holiness.

(Righteousness is both imparted and imputed according to Scripture. Some groups will say that righteousness is inputed, meaning you were declared to be righteous because you're pass sins are forgiven, but they denied a very important truth that God's righteousness is imparted to us. God's righteousness is literally put into our spirit so that we can live righteously by depending upon him.

Roman six is all about that right there. It tells us that righteousness is important to us and how and how we're supposed to live because of that.)

Romans 1: 17For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith."

Romans 3: 21But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. 22This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, 23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. 25God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood. He did this to demonstrate his justice, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— 26he did it to demonstrate his justice at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.

1 Corinthians 1: 30It is because of him that you are *in Christ Jesus,*who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.

2 Corinthians 5:14For Christ's love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. 15And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.

Ephesians 4:17-24. …That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which *after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.*

4. He has been forgiven of past sins.

Matt 26: 28This is my blood of the[b] covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

Luke : 45Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures. 46He told them, "This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, 47and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

Acts 2: 30The God of our fathers raised Jesus from the dead—whom you had killed by hanging him on a tree. 31God exalted him to his own right hand as Prince and Savior that he might give repentance and forgiveness of sins to Israel.

Acts 13: 38"Therefore, my brothers, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. 39Through him everyone who believes is justified from everything you could not be justified from by the law of Moses.

Colossians 1 11being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully 12giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you[d] to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. *13For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 14in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.* (just another passage that proves that all people are in the dominion of Satan, a child of Satan, before they are born again.)

Hebrews 10: 15The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. First he says:
16"This is the covenant I will make with them
after that time, says the Lord.
I will put my laws in their hearts,
and I will write them on their minds."[b] 17Then he adds:
"Their sins and lawless acts
I will remember no more."

5.He has been given inner cleansing.

Hebrews 1: 3The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.

Hebrews 9: 14How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!

Hebrews 10: 22let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.

1John 1: 7But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all[b] sin.
6. Freedom from the power of sin.**

Since so many people deny this truth, I'm going to say this again.

ONE IF THE THINGS WE GET WHEN WE ARE BORN AGAIN IS FREEDOM FROM THE POWER OF SIN.

There are groups that teach that a person can never be free from sin. They are liars. They teach that we should always strive to overcome sin. We should do the best we can to live a holy life. They teach that it is not possible until we are in heaven. They are liars. That is not what the Bible teaches at all. And these are just a few scriptures to support that. You go to the New Testament you write down all the scriptures that do you say that we are free from the power of sin. Then leave whatever Church you're in this teaching opposite of that.

Romans 6: 17But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching to which you were entrusted. 18You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.
20When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness. 21What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death! 22But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. 23For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in[b] Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8: 2because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.

Galatians 1 3Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, 4who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,

1 Peter 2: 24He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.

7. He is been free from condemnation and judgment of his past sins.

Romans 8: 1Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,[a] 2because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death. 3For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature,[b] God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in sinful man, 4in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit.

8.He has been united to Christ spiritually.

Romans 6:5
If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection.

1 Corinthians 1: 30It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.

Philippians 2:1
If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion,

9.He has Christ dwelling within.

Romans 8: 9You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. 10But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness. 11And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you.

10.He has been delivered from the kingdom of Satan and put into the kingdom of God.

(Once again, this is evidence that all of man are children of the devil until they are born again. Most people deny that.)

Colossians 1 11being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully 12giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you[d] to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. 13For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 14in whom we have redemption,[e] the forgiveness of sins.

Colossians 2: 13When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature,[b] God made you[c] alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, 14having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross.

Colossians 3: 1Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.

11. He is granted nearness to God

Ephesians 2: 12remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. 13But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ.

12. He has a new self and governing disposition

(Because you are born again and re-created, you are no longer governed by disposition of sin but by the disposition of righteousness. You are brand-new creature inside.)

Jeremiah 31
33 "This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel
after that time," declares the LORD.
"I will put my law in their minds
and write it on their hearts.
I will be their God,
and they will be my people.

Ezekiel 11

19 I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh.

Romans 6: 17But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching to which you were entrusted. 18You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.
19I put this in human terms because you are weak in your natural selves. Just as you used to offer the parts of your body in slavery to impurity and to ever-increasing wickedness, so now offer them in slavery to righteousness leading to holiness.

5Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. 6The mind of sinful man[e] is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace; 7the sinful mind[f] is hostile to God. It does not submit to God's law, nor can it do so. 8Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God.
9You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you.

Galatians 5:22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. 25Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

Ephesians 4: 22You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; 23to be made new in the attitude of your minds; 24and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

Colossians 3: 5Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. 6Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.[b] 7You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. 8But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. 9Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices 10and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator

1 John 2 29If you know that he is righteous, you know that everyone who does what is right has been born of him.

13. He now has peace with God

Romans 5: 1Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we[a]have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we[b] rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.

Galatians 5
22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Ephesians 2 14For he himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, 15by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace, 16and in this one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. 17He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. 18For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.

14Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.

Philippians 4
7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Colossians 1
19For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, 20and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

14. He has been given access to God the Father

Hebrews 10: 22let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with

We will grow in the knowledge of these effects and the manifestation of them in our lives, but we get them in a measure at the instant of justification. Every one of them. In an instant.**

I often like to quote others who say what I want to say but do it much better.

From the article titled The New Birth.

"Although the new birth does not perfect us (there is much room for growth and perfection in holiness following),

*Since a few have falsely accusing me of saying or believing that a person who is born again is now perfect, let me or rather the author of this article repeat this*

"Although the new birth does not perfect us (there is much room for growth and perfection in holiness following),

it is a far more drastic and thorough change than what we modern evangelicals have made it out to be. This, as we have said, is evident from the very term Jesus used—"born again." Just as the natural conception and birth produces a person, the supernatural new birth by the Spirit of God produces a new person."

John Wesley defined the new birth thus:

We, as well as the Heathens, "are alienated from the life of God;"…"every one of us," by the corruption of our inmost nature, "is very far gone from original righteousness;" so far, that "every person born into the world deserveth God’s wrath and damnation;" that we have by nature no power either to help ourselves, or even to call upon God to help us: All our tempers and works, in our natural state, being only evil continually.

So that our coming to Christ, as well as theirs, must infer a great and mighty change. It must infer not only an outward change, from stealing, lying, and all corrupt communication; but a thorough change of heart, an inward renewal in the spirit of our mind.

Accordingly, "the old man" implies infinitely more than outward evil conversation, even "an evil heart of unbelief," corrupted by pride and a thousand deceitful lusts. Of consequence, the "new man," must imply infinitely more than outward good conversation, even "a good heart, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness;" a heart full of that faith which, working by love, produces all holiness of conversation. The change from the former of these states to the latter, is what I call The New Birth (The Works of John Wesley, Vol. 1, p. 214).

Notice that, in keeping with our Scripture texts on the new birth, Wesley argues for a far greater change in the new birth than what we do today. Consider also these remarks from his sermon entitled, "Marks of the New Birth:"

An immediate and constant fruit of this faith whereby we are born of God, a fruit which can in no wise be separated from it, no, not for an hour, is power over sin;--power over outward sin of every kind; over every evil word and work;for wheresoever the blood of Christ is thus applied, it "purgeth the conscience from dead works;"—and over inward sin; for it purifieth the heart from every unholy desire and temper…."Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: And he cannot sin, because he is born of God." (I John 3:9). But some men will say, "True: Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin habitually." Habitually! Whence is that? I read it not. It is not written in the Book. God plainly saith, "He doth not commit sin;" and thou addest, habitually! Who art thou that mendest the oracles of God?—that "addest to the words of the book?" Beware, I beseech thee, lest God "add to thee all the plagues that are written therein!" especially when the comment thou addest is such as quite swallows up the text: So that by this [Greek], this artful method of deceiving, the precious promise is utterly lost; by the[Greek], this tricking and shuffling of men, the word of God is made of none effect. O beware, thou that thus takest from the words of this book, that, taking away the whole meaning and spirit from them, leavest only what may indeed be termed a dead letter, lest God take away thy part out of the book of life! (John Wesley, Vol. 5, pp. 214,215)

It is evident from our Scriptures on the new birth that it is a change of heart as well as a change of life. Therefore, evidence of it must not be sought in either the one or the other alone, but in both the heart and the life. The new birth produces a change of inward motives, desires, affections and characteristics as well as a change of outward conduct and behavior.

Ladies and gentlemen, if you are a born again person, this is good news. This is shouting and praising God and dancing around good news. These are some of the spoils that Isaiah 53 promised but Jesus Christ would share with those who are born again. This is good news.

If it is not good news to you, I would once again suggest two things.

One is to examine yourself and see if you even are in the faith as Paul recommends.

The other is to read the New Testament and write down every scripture that fits into these categories. Be convinced by the Bible. Be convinced of the truth according to what the Scriptures teach.

"This latest video is a preview of footage that CMP investigators gathered at the 2014 and 2015 National Abortion Federation conventions, attended by hundreds of members of the abortion industry each year."

"Here are some of the most horrifying remarks from the brand-new undercover footage. Attendees made some of these comments during official presentations, and others directly to undercover CMP investigators."

"Dr. Lisa Harris, the medical director of Planned Parenthood of Michigan:

Given that we actually see the fetus the same way, and given that we might actually both agree that there’s violence in here. . . . Let’s just give them all the violence, **it’s a person, it’s killing, let’s just give them all that.**"

"Leslie Drummond, an abortion provider at Planned Parenthood Mar Monte (a PPFA affiliate that contracted with a biotech firm to be paid per fetal organ provided):
I get a lot of oohs and ahhs from StemExpress [biotech firm]. You know, they’re wanting livers. . . . Last week I was in Sacramento, and she said, “I need four intact limbs.” And I said, you want what?"

"Dr. Deborah Nucatola, the senior director of medical services for PPFA:

You know, sometimes she’ll tell me she wants brain, and we’ll, you know, leave the calvarium in till last, and then try to basically take it, or actually, you know, catch everything and keep it separate from the rest of the tissue so it doesn't get lost."

The females that work at Planned Parenthood or excellent examples of what happens when a person gives their entire life over to demons.

Only people who are completely controlled by demons could say these kinds of things or make these kinds of jokes.

They are indeed the brothers and sisters of Jeffrey Dahmer. They murder for fun and profit. They cut children into pieces for fun and profit. They are no better than Jeffrey Dahmer or Josef Mengele.

This comes under the heading of “Truths No One Wants to Talk About.” Actually it is a truth no one is allowed to discuss under the new politicall correctness fascism .

We have a problem within the inner cities African American culture that no one wants to face because it cannot be voiced.

Here is just one news story today that addresses that problem.

Unsayable Truths about a Failing High School‌

“Students described rape threats, stalking, kids sent back to classrooms after menacing teachers or classmates, teachers walking past fighting kids, security guards looking the other way. The problems, students insisted, weren’t limited to the high school; they remembered thuggery in middle and even elementary school, too.”

“A February survey of CHS teachers had already revealed a school that resembled Lord of the Flies . Cursing, yelling students roamed the halls, pushing, shoving, ramming each other into walls, sometimes “accidentally” colliding with teachers. Thirty-six out of 79 teachers surveyed believed that they were unsafe in the hallways, and those who didn’t acknowledged either being big enough to stare down students or practiced at minding their own business. “What are you going to do about it? You can’t do anything,” “F*** off, crazy old motherf***er,” were some of the choice rejoinders they told of hearing. “If I feel uncomfortable by the language and noise level a student displays,” one teacher wrote, “I can 1) address it and open myself up to insubordination and/or a verbal retaliation for which no consequences will be delivered or I can 2) choose to ignore it which I struggle with ethically because then I feel complicit. It’s a complete ‘no-win,’ and I battle this every day.”

“In 2013, the Obama administration’s Department of Education Civil Rights Division warned school districts that schools violate federal law when they “ evenhandedly implement facially neutral policies and practices that, although not adopted with the intent to discriminate , nonetheless have an unjustified effect of discriminating against students on the basis of race” (author’s emphasis).”

We cannot discuss theses things because to do so will get us labeled as racists.

‪ I found this horrifying article today. It is published on the very liberal Huffington Post where one should ever expect to find common sense, but this is beyond the pale. ‬

Inside The Misunderstood World Of Adult Baby Diaper Lovers
Here’s how one store is working to break down the stigma.

By Noah Michelson

http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_58d127f7e4b0be71dcf7e9ba‬

‪Yes! You read that correctly. This is an article about "men" who derive sexual pleasure from dressing and acting like babies. ‬

‪There is a shop that sells adult sized diapers and cribes and pacifiers and other baby paraphernalia to these kinds of perverts. The author is calling the owners of a shop that caters to that filth a hero. ‬

‪From the article:‬

"Tykables, the only brick and mortar storefront in the United States dedicated to adult baby diaper lovers (ABDL), is located in Mount Prospect, a suburb of Chicago. Its customers, John-Michael Williams, the store’s owner says, include those ABDL who have a fetish or sexual interest in dressing like or pretending to be a baby; people who have a medical need for adult diapers and enjoy the brand’s options; and individuals, some of whom are on the autism spectrum, who find the diapers and child-style clothing provide a sense of comfort and stress relief."

It gets worse

"Saying that people who identify as ABDL are misunderstood and maligned would be a colossal understatement. Even worse, not only do they face ridicule for having desires or inclinations that exist outside of what is considered by mainstream culture to “normal,” there are few places beyond the internet to express their identity, find community or buy goods related to their interests. "

These people, the author, the store owners, the perverts, and even many of the readers are probably people who hate God, His people and His Bible without understanding they are proving the Bible is truth.

When a society accepts perversion as normal as we have done with homosexuality, all manner of filth and perversion is going to march out of the dark recesses of back alleys and holes.

Now transgender nonsense is being forced down our throats as normal.

Do not be surprised if pedophilia is next. It will be. It will start with pedophilia being redefined. People will start accepting a lowered age of consent.

We are going to see perversion of a kind no normal person would ever have conceived.

"As it was in the days of Noah. . . "

All manner of demons will be loosed.

Do not kid yourself. These sad freaks are demon possessed. They can be set free completely by Jesus Christ just like the man in the tombs. All they have to do is repent from that perversion and ask.

But how likely is that to happen if they are surrounded by people who accept them and their behavior while encouraging them to come out of their particular closet?

Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. – Isaiah 5:20

We need to be BOLD in our preaching of the gospel. We need to be full of the Holy Ghost. We need to remember what Jesus told us.

“I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭10:19‬ ‭NIV‬‬
http://bible.com/111/luk.10.19.niv

Go over this scripture until the Holy Spirit reveals it to you and it rings with power in your spirit. We need to go to war. We will need this truth.

These are the last days of the last days. We are going to see much worse. Get ready to battle for souls.

Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold. – Matthew 24:12

“But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.”
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭3:1-5‬ ‭NIV‬‬
http://bible.com/111/2ti.3.1-5.niv

Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them. – Romans 1:28-32

Goodbye Kitty

Long ago I had a Basset hound named Daisy for eight years. And one day she just disappeared. I have no idea what happened. I've never saw her again. I grieved for that dog to a degree that I wondered if it was sinful. It wasn't. People grieve for animals they are attached to.

I told my husband I never wanted to be that attached to an animal again.

Nine years ago we got this cat. I am every bit is attached to him as I ever was to Daisy. He is full of personality. He's also a companion cat. He likes to be with his people. He follows me around the house or he did until he became completely paralyzed in both of his back legs and his tail. We don't really know why. All we know is that this does happen to old cats. He was an adult when we got him.

He is in no pain. He just can't use his back legs at all. He still spends 90% of his time in bed with me at night or on sitting on my lap or on the couch beside me when I'm at home. Of course I have to move him there or he will drag himself to where I am. He doesn't appear to be in pain. He sits on my lap and purrs most of the evening just like he used to. He can still drag himself into his litter box but I have to clean him up afterwards. He still eats.

But Friday Wes has an appointment to have him put to sleep. I've cried for two days.

Actually, Obama despises the west and he despises Christianity because he hates God.

From the article:

By Ben Shapiro

http://www.nationalreview.com/author/ben-shapiro

“A religious leftist, he breaks down Bible believers into two categories: fools and liars.”

“Something deeper drives Obama when it comes to Israel. Why else would he spend the last few weeks of his presidency throwing gasoline on Israel and then lighting a match?”

“Here’s the most plausible explanation: Obama despises Israel because at root, Obama despises the traditional Judeo-Christian underpinning of Western civilization. He breaks down Bible believers into two categories: fools and liars. The fools are the “bitter clingers,” the idiot masses who fall into racism and xenophobia and Bible jabber because they’re poor and stupid. The liars are the self-interested characters who want to do what they want to do while citing the Bible for their support.”

John Kerry’s Fitting Ending

"Trashing Israel on the way out the door is the perfect capstone to an ignoble career.

John Kerry ends his long career in politics the same way he began it: disgracefully."
