Breitbart News has obtained a promotional booklet produced in 1991 by’s then-literary agency, Acton & Dystel, which touts Obama as “born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii.”
The booklet, which was distributed to “business colleagues” in the publishing industry, includes a brief biography of Obama among the biographies of eighty-nine other authors represented by Acton & Dystel.
It also promotes Obama’s anticipated first book, Journeys in Black and White–which Obama abandoned, later publishing Dreams from My Father instead.
This could be fun.

In October of last year, news came out that Shorter University, a Christian college in Rome, Georgia, had decided to make its employees sign a controversial pledge that says that they are not engaging in homosexuality, among other forbidden activities. Now, after nearly 50% of the employees refused to sign the Pledge. The college, which is affiliated with the Georgia Baptist Convention, has received a massive number of resignations
Plainly stated: the opposition to the regulatory mechanism isn’t likely to lead Shorter University to reverse course. Aside from forbidding an active role in a gay relationship, the lifestyle pledge also bans pre-marital sex, adultery and drug use and abuse. Additionally, employees are asked to be active members of a church and to live their lives as committed, Bible-believing followers of Jesus Christ.
“Shorter University will hire persons who are committed Bible believing Christians, who are dedicated to integrating biblical faith in their classes and who are in agreement with the University Statement of Faith,” the document reads. “Moreover, employees are expected to be active members of a local church.”

Looks to me like this college needed a good bowel movement. The college administered the laxative in the form of the pledge. The result? A good cleansing.

Now hire some real Christians and get on with educating.

I have been reading a lot of stories like this lately.  What is everyone's opinions? 
I don't have a problem with it.  Don't want to be shot?  Don't rob people.

Joe Paterno had died. Many will speak of his legacy. They will list this and that achievement in football an at Penn. State. They will call him great.

They are talking about how he transformed Penn State football into powerhouse.

"History will say that he's one of the greatest. Who's coached longer, who's coached better, who's won more games, who's been more successful than Joe? Who's done more for his university than Joe? You've lost one of the greatest. He probably means the same thing up there that Bear Bryant meant down here. He's an icon." — retired Florida State coach Bobby Bowden.

Meaningless drivel. Meaningless nonsense. Football scores and records may be fun, but they are meaningless in the long run.

In the same article his family says that he was He was a man devoted to his family, his university, his players and his community."

Joe Paterno was the powerful head coach of a major university. Everyone with a lick of sense knows that a coach of that kind carries power. Nothing but nothing is going to happen with that football team, its players, it coaches or in its locker rooms and showers this kind of coach won’t know about.

Sandusky was investigated for the inappropriate behavior with young boys as early as1998. He was turned in to the university police and to the REAL police by a mother whose son came home with wet hair from an outing with Sandusky.

Everyone knows that a coach of the magnitude of this coach knows EVERYTHING that remotely touches his football team. He knows what is going on in the university and in the town. He is god at that university. I am supposed to believe that Joe didn’t know in 1998 that something was very wrong with his defensive coach?

Well keep this in mind. Sandusky was just any defensive coach. My husband tells me he was a very good defensive coach and very important in his time. He invented things defenses do today.

Yet he retired early, in his prime. No one else hired him.

1998. I think JoePa and the university officials knew then.

If he didn’t know then, there is no doubt this side of heaven that he knew in 2002 when Mike McQueary told him what he saw in the shower. I know the story of what Mike McQueary told Joe Paterno keeps changing. Now that Joe had died, we may never know the real truth, but McQueary told Paterno enough. Joe know that Sandusky was abusing children and in JoePa’s showers. He knew.

What did he and Mike do?
Did they call the cops?
NO.

Did they confront Sandusky?
Nope.

Joe told Mike to go home and he would take care of. Mike McQueary that “man” with courage bold, went home and did nothing more about a child he saw raped for years.

But Joe, he’s a man of courage, right?
He was a man who cared about his community and young people. didn’t he?
That is what I have been told.
What did Joe do?

Waited several HOURS to report child abuse to . . . . wait for it . . . . to the cops? NO

He reported a rape of a child to his superious.
Like Mike McQueary, he went on with his life for many more years doing nothing about the child whose rape McQueary witnessed nor the child that was raped back in 1998 nor the children that Sandusky raped since.

Some say he did what was required of him by the law of the state or the law of the university. I don’t which. I don’t give a flip.

He did not do what was required of him as a human being. He did NOT do what was required of him by God.

He shut up and protected his football program.

He coached football games while Sandusky walked the sidelines beside him even though Sandusky was no longer coaching then. He allowed Sandusky to still have access to the football facility. Sandusky even had an office in Joe Paterno’s football facility.

Joe continued to go to charitable events for Sandusky’s charity. Sat with him. Ate with him. Shook his hand.

That is Paterno’s legacy. He harbored a man he knew was a pedophile in the name of Penn State football.

When Joe Paterno had a chance to show true courage, he did not. He shut up. He looked away and chose to do nothing.

When it really counted, Joe Paterno proved to be a coward.

Joe Paterno had died. Many will speak of his legacy. They will list this and that achievement in football an at Penn. State. They will call him great. Too bad none of that really matters in the long run. Football is fun but it is nothing but football, a game. Nothing more. When it came time for Joe to step up and leave a meaningful and true legacy, Joe fell down and hid behind silly university guidelines. When it came time to step up and really help children and young people, JoePa choose the university and his football program.

His legacy is not the legacy of a great coach, but one of a coward who allowed the rape of children to continue in the name of Penn. State.
